We know it's been a really long time coming, but we are now thinking about doing our first public pre-alpha release!
This will be free, and is intended to get feedback on some of the mechanics, and such. We are aiming for it to come out in 1 week. We'll be sure to keep you posted on any happenings though!
On your project as a whole, I think it's just too much for a couple of kids to take on. From what I hear, it sounds almost like a modern day Skyrim, that's gonna end with lots of things to do, with none of them being fully fleshed out. This project is too big for a couple of people any age (in my humble opinion). I think you should go for a more linear "on the tracks" type game for one of your first. The indie games that make it far are the ones with a lot of heart. Feel 100% free to disregard my thoughts. Just sometimes it's best to hear others' opinions.

DeleteHowever not to sound overly confident, I do think we can do it. We're expecting a large development time, and tons of work.
